When He had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

It says they stayed continually at the temple to worship God. All I could think about this morning is the fact that we have boxed worship into an hour service on a Sunday morning. Worship is about what comes from within. I can’t help but believe God used this pandemic to help us see our shortcomings and shift our focus off of a building and program and onto Him. I feel there are some people who haven’t worshiped since the buildings shut the doors because their worship was a response to a building/service/program and not a response to God. It’s time to shift back to Him and Him alone.
