Luke 21:1-4

As Jesus looked up, He saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

Giving back to God should be sacrificial. If we only give out of our comfort, what are we truly giving? If we only give Him Sunday, and we take the other 6 days what does that show? If we only give a percentage of offering that doesn’t effect us at all, what sacrifice is that? If we only give Him the parts of our lives that we are comfortable giving…that’s called being lukewarm. Following Jesus means completely and totally following Him with every fiber of our being. It’s all or nothing. What will it be?
