People were bringing babies to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Kids have a sense of awe and faith that adults tend to lose over time. The stories of the Bible begin to be normalized…our faith walk tends to become more routine. But for a child, the stories of scripture put them in awe of God. In fact, they’re usually in awe to the point where they want to tell everyone they know what they learned. They put their faith in God completely…being fearless and loving all at the same time. They truly love others and love God. You want to make it to Heaven? You’ve got to start pursuing a child-like faith. Be in awe of God and what He has done…put your faith in God alone.
