Now Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him, but they were not able to get near Him because of the crowd. Someone told Him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”
He replied, “My mother and brother’s are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”

It’s not just about hearing the word and having knowledge of the word. We have to put it into practice. We have to actually live it out. We have to know His word, and then take what we know and live by it each and every day. It’s our guide for life. It’s our decision maker…our compass…our textbook. It’s the very word of God…it’s God communicating to you and me today. You want to be considered a brother or sister in the family of God? Hear His word…and then do what it says.
