While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, He asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David? David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declares:
“The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”
Psalm 110:1
David himself calls Him ‘Lord.’ How then can He be his son?”
The large crowd listened to Him with delight.

It says that the crowd listened with delight. When is the last time you have allowed the Word of God to fill you with delight? It basically means they were pleased with what they heard. Does God’s Word leave your pleased? Is His Word alone enough to satisfy you? If everything else disappeared today…would His Word be enough to please you with a fancy sermon, attractive music, and flashing lights? Would it be enough for you if there were no children or student programs? Because…it should. Get to know His Word…learn to let it be the pleasing aroma in your life.
